Micronics offer a range of battery powered Portable Meters under the PortaflowTM Trade name. Designed to work on full pipes containing any sonic conducting fluid they offer the user the ability to select the facilities required at a price to suit their budget.
A choice of 4 Transit Time Meters and 2 Doppler Meter for liquids containing more than 2% solids is available. Most pipe materials including multi layer walls can be accommodated in pipe sizes from 13mm Inside Diameter to 5000mm Inside Diameter.
All Micronics flow meters work on any sonic conducting liquid containing <2% solids, in carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, mild steel, brass, copper, UPVC, PVDF, glass or concrete pipes. Flow velocity range is dependent on pipe size and transducer type, contact Micronics for details. Micronics reserve the right to change the specification of it's instruments without notification.
